The two-story massing steps down gracefully at each wing, creating a covered porch on the left and a glazed outdoor room on the right that connects directly to a wood deck and timber planter surround documented on the first-floor plan. Inside, the first floor organizes daily living around a central stair hall with a noted curved partition wall. The kitchen and breakfast room occupy the rear-left zone, opening toward the dining room. A generous living room anchored by a fireplace (labeled FP on the plan) spans the central rear, with direct access to the enclosed outdoor room — an all-season extension that blurs the line between interior comfort and the surrounding landscape.
